1. The short answer
The CEKU app does not use cookies. Cookies are a browser technology, and the app does not run in a browser.
It does keep a few things in your device's own storage so that it can work. All of them are listed below.
That is why this document is short. If an app's cookie policy describes analytics and advertising cookies, it was probably copied from a website.
2. What is stored on your device
| What | For | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Session token | So you are not asked to sign in every time | Until you sign out |
| Language and theme | To remember what you chose | Until you remove the app |
| Content cache | So images you have seen are not downloaded again | The system clears it when space is needed |
| Push token | So notifications can reach you | Until you turn notifications off |
The session token and your preferences are stored encrypted on the device.
3. How to remove them
- Session token — sign out. To end a session on another device, use Settings → Security → Active Sessions.
- Preferences and cache — delete the app; all of it goes with it.
- Push token — turn off CEKU notifications in your device settings.
4. These web pages
The legal pages you are reading do not use cookies either. The page keeps only the language you picked in your browser's local storage, so the other documents open in the same language. That is not sent to us.
5. Third parties
There is no ad network, analytics SDK or tracking pixel in the app. What the providers we do use can see is set out in a table in the Privacy Policy.
